Bring Your Dog on a Food Crawl!

Updated: Mar 31

Join the first restaurant crawl for dogs on the Atlanta BeltLine

Does your dog love the Atlanta BeltLine? If so, they are in for a real treat!

We just launched Barks & Bites: Doggie Food Crawl on the BeltLine. This is the first restaurant crawl on the BeltLine for dogs. I am so excited to offer this tour, as I am a huge dog lover.

This restaurant crawl is all about the dog! Join us as we walk down the BeltLine, stopping to eat on the patios of three of the most dog friendly restaurants in Atlanta. At each stop, there will be tasty treats made just for your pup, plus a "Dog Brew" created specially for canines by Elsewhere Brewing. And...YOU get small bites at each restaurant, plus one craft beer.

We are not hitting the insanely crowded Eastside Trail, which you know and love, but are exploring the next up-and-coming section of the BeltLine between Krog Street and Memorial Drive. This part of the trail is very scenic and has new restaurants opening and tons of street art to explore. It makes great photo opps for you and your dog on the BeltLine. Plus, check out the explosion of development on Memorial Drive - if you haven't been there lately, you may not recognize it.

Here is more about the Doggie Food Crawl restaurants:

  • We start at Brewdog. This is an expansive open-air brewery from Scotland, which opened not long ago across from Krog Street Market, and has awesome views of the BeltLine. They love dogs - how could they not with a name like Brewdog? They are preparing a menu item just for canine customers, and pup parents will get some delicious pub fare too, plus your craft beer. You can toast your dog as they drink their Dog Brew! And...there might be some special guests setting up at the restaurant for our Doggie Crawl.

  • Next restaurant is Envegan. "We are all about the animals," says owner Tien Nguyen. That's why we are heading off the BeltLine for a couple blocks to check out this tasty vegan restaurant in Reynoldstown.

  • Dessert at Butter & Cream. Dogs deserve ice cream too, and they will fall in love with these "pup cups," tailor made for them in two flavors: pumpin and honey, or peanut butter and banana. And you get your choice of ice cream.

Also, you get a preview of the new Woofgang Bakery & Grooming opening soon on the BeltLine, and some goodies from them. And we stop into The Clean Dog, a dog groomer located in Inman Park, with an amazing selection of dog supplies. They will also have special treats for your pup.

There will also be prizes and giveaways from: The Whole Dog Market, Piedmont Bark and Chico’s Mafia Tough Dog Apparel.

I am so excited to share these giveaways with you, which include discount coupons, gift bags and more. Chico's Mafia is even donating T-shirts for dogs.

Help your dog live their best life on this fun outing on the BeltLine! You'll remember it fur-ever. But don't wait because this crawl is going to sell out.
